Ertugrul Gazi Mosque

In 1998 came to light one of the most beautiful buildings in our world - Ertugrul Gazi Mosque, or as it is called, Mosque Azady. It was built soon after the declaration of state of Turkmenistan independence and became another symbol of his freedom.

The mosque is named after Osmana Gazy - the first sultan of the Ottoman Empire to conquer the west of Asia Minor. The construction can not fail to surprise, because it harmoniously intertwined Islamic and Byzantine architecture. Externally it is similar to the Blue Mosque, located in Istanbul.
