The Imam Ali Islamic Center is a religious community center established in the summer of 1999 and is currently located in the Grand Prairie (Texas) and serves the Muslim community of Dallas-Forth Worth (DFW) metroplex area. The present building of the center was opened in the fall of 2000 in order to meet the religious needs of the Muslim community in the DFW area. The religious programs are conducted in this Center in Arabic and English. The Center is providing religious and charitable services to the community of believers by way of congregational prayers, observance of joyous and sorrowful occasions associated with the Prophet (PBUH) and his Ahlul-Bait (A.S.), The Friday Prayer and guidance in matters of religious beliefs and actions. The Center is also the place for the Imam Ali Islamic Sunday School that teaches Arabic, Koran and Islamic principles.
