III interregional festival-contest of munajat

On 12 October in Kazan will host the III international festival-competition of performers of works of folklore and specimens of the spiritual heritage of the Tatar people. The purpose of the contest, which will take part in dozens of contestants from Tatarstan and other Russian regions, is the revival and development of spiritual traditions of the Tatars. The main goal of the competition is to contribute to the spiritual revival, development and promotion of the cultural, spiritual traditions of the Tatar people. In the competition can participate students of classes 8 to 11 of secondary schools, institutions of primary and secondary professional education of the Republic of Tatarstan and other regions of Russia and representatives of the older generation.The competition is held in three nominations: the execution of works of folklore (munajat, Baitov, epics, prayers, dhikr), performed samples of the book's literary heritage ("Kyssa Joseph", "Badabam", "Kiseki-bash"), reading of the Qur'an in traditions of the Tatar Maqam.From 12 to 18 October, the participants send video or audio recordings of the numbers presented on the participation in the festival. The official results of the contest will be announced on 22 October. The winners of the qualifying round are invited to the final stage of the competition, which will take place November 14 at the closing of the Schools of the Muslim leader. They will also take part in the gala concert of the Festival of the Islamic cultural heritage of the Tatar people.
