Workshops on the Volga Turks

In Cultural and leisure centre will host workshops on the language in which written and spoken educated circles of the Turkic Muslim peoples of the Volga region before the revolution and several decades thereafter. They are held with the support of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Moscow and the Centre of Islamic studies Fund of Marjani.You will learn the alphabet and learn to understand texts written in Arabic script. Who can read of the Volga Turks, also, you can easily learn the old texts of the peoples of Central Asia and Anatolia.Of the surviving texts in this language it is possible to note the extensive journalistic and religious literature, business writing, registers of births, epitaph, tree (genealogy), epistolary monuments (up to 60-ies of the 20th century.) etc. the Possession of this script will allow to study the rich material from the point of view of literature, history, philosophy, theology and other fields of knowledge.Among wishing to attend workshops preference will be given to those who are the Volga, the Turks needed to study or professional activity. Good knowledge of one of the modern Turkic languages is important.
