UK Eid al-Adha Celebrations 2018
16 августа 2018 г.

This year Eid al-Adha has officially been confirmed to be on Tuesday 21st August 2018. Eid al-Adha is the second celebration of the Islamic calendar, the first being Eid al-Fitr. It takes place in the final month, on the 10th of Dhu al-Hijjah, and the festival lasts three days. Because Eid is observed by Muslims on the same day all around the globe, there is a strong sense of unity and as a result, communities hold events to celebrate the special day.

We’ve compiled a list of events that will be taking place for Eid in the UK. They’ll be happening over an entire month, so it may be possible to attend a number of these events to enjoy yourself even further.
