Islamic Center of Davis
Reviews: 0
The Islamic Center of Davis serves the Muslim community in the college town of Davis, California. A large portion of the community is made up of Muslim students attending the University of California. The Center offers a variety of services to the Muslim community in Davis. In addition to the Congregational daily prayers and the Juma Prayer (Friday sermon), the Center works toward bringing together Muslims through various cultural and social activities. The center also strives to enhance the understanding of Islam among Muslims as well as endeavor to make Islamic teachings known to interested non-Muslims. The Islamic Center of Davis is located in close proximity the UC Davis Campus, one of 10 campuses of the University of California. The City of Davis is a small college town where students compose a large portion of its population of about 56,000. Davis is close to California’s state capital Sacramento (15 miles to the east) and the San Francisco Bay Area and San Francisco (72 miles to the southwest).

Also known as Masjid Bilal, The Islamic Society of Folsom was formed in 1992 to meet the needs of a small but growing community of Muslims in East Sacramento. ISF serves the Muslim population in Roseville, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Orangevale, Rancho Cordova and outlying foothill communities. Over 2,000 Muslim families live in this area. Most are young families with small children. ISF serves a large, ethnically diverse Muslim population including people from: Arabia, Africa, South-East Asia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Middle East. ISF also offers Nazira programs, Hifz programs and a full time Islamic Elementary School. We have recently added a full time Imaam. The masjid is open for 5 daily prayers as well as Juma and Taraweeh prayers.

MAS Community & Youth Center
Reviews: 0
MAS Community & Youth Center (MCYC) opened on June 1st 2010 as a project of the MAS Sacramento Chapter. The Center is located at the heart of Elk Grove, off Laguna Blvd, two minutes from Hwy 99, across the street from the Movie Theater on Big Horn Blvd. At the beginning, it was planned as a youth center, then due to the demand of the Elk Grove Muslim community to have a place for prayers, MAS Board members took the advice of many brothers and sisters and changed the project to the MAS Community & Youth Center, to accommodate the need of Elk Grove Community. Always open for Fajr, Isha and formal Jumaa, but the other salats are only if someone comes to open or if there are programs or events.
