This mosque is the sixth one to be built under Phase III of the Mosque Building Fund programme to serve the needs of the Muslim community around the Bishan area. The mosque can accommodate about 4,000 people and was opened to the public on 6th January 2006. The mosque complex also houses MUISs Harmony Centre where visitors could learn of the Muslim Community and Islam as practiced in multi-cultural Singapore. Being the first of its kind in a Singapore mosque, the 2-storey Harmony Centre showcases exhibits, artifacts and information on Islamic civilisation and lifestyle. Contemporary issues in Islam and Inter-faith understanding will also be a feature at the Centre through talks and activities. The Centre is scheduled to be opened to all in October 2006. Open Weekdays 9am-5:30pm.

Masjid Al-Istiqamah is a mosque in Singapore which was completed in 1999. The building is located at the corner of Yio Chu Kang Road and Ang Mo Kio Ave 3, with the front entrance at Serangoon North Avenue 2, directly facing Blk 139 on the opposite side of the street. The three-storeyed mosque with a combination of designs from the Nusantara, Middle East and Mauritius can cater to a maximum of 3,300 worshippers at any one time. Its convertible concept enables the optimisation of space and multiple functionalities of the rooms.

Built from donations by Hajjah Rahima Bee Ahmad Angullia, this masjid was redeveloped from an existing masjid, which had been around since 1960. the redeveloped masjid, which was completed in 1984, was renamed after the donor. Located in the Central part of the island, it is one of the several mosques which have pulpits decorated with woodcarvings. With a capacity of about 500 worshippers, it organizes Iqra? and Mukaddam (Quran reading) courses.

Morning is a hectic period at the masjid when doting parents wave their pre-schoolers goodbye. Besides kindergarten classes for these pre-schoolers, the mosque is among the few, which offers a Tahfiz (Al-Quran memorization) course for children. Built in 1989, it serves Muslim families living in Yishun and the North part of the island. The masjid, which falls under Phase Two of the Mosque Building Fund, can accommodate about 3000 people.

This Phase 4 mosque was built to cater to the large demographic of young families in the Buangkok and Sengkang area. Aside from its numerous family friendly features for the young and the old, it also boasts a number of environmentally-friendly features that are energy-conserving. Due to this, the mosque has attained the Greenmark Certification from the Building and Construction Authority.

Masjid Assyafaah is the fifth mosque to be built under Phase III of the Mosque Building Fund programme to serve the needs of the Muslim community in the Northern part of Singapore. It also acts as a replacement due to the closure of two old mosques in the Sembawang area - Jumah Sembawang Mosque and Naval Base Mosque. The mosque which can accommodate about 4,000 people at one time was opened to the public on 9th April 2004.

From a small surau, this old generation masjid has grown into what it is today. Built in 1952, this zinc-roofed masjid underwent major renovations in 1996 to expand on its prayer hall. Today it can accommodate 600 worshippers. Located in the Central part of the island, the masjid offers weekend madrasah classes to students living around Queenstown area. It also organizes zikir sessions where praises to Allah are recited.

The brick-clad wall panels which blend with the nearby sports facilities have given way to a bluish tile after an extensive and major repair work was carried out in 1999. Built under the Mosque Building Fund in 1991, the masjid sited next to busy Tampines Central in the East can accommodate up to 4,500 people. It has daily kindergarten and madrasah classes. In the evening, the masjid is a bustle of activities as men and women attend the various religious classes offered.
