Darul Hadith Latifiah
Reviews: 0
Darul Hadis Latifiah (Formerly Madrasah-e-Darul Qirat Majidiah) was established in 1978 as an Islamic education centre by a group of concerned parents and community leaders, under the guidance of Hazrat Maulana Shah Sufi Muhammad Abdul Latif Chowdhury (Fultali Saheb), in order to meet the growing but largely unmet wishes of local Bangladeshi Muslim parents to educate their children in Qur?an and Shariah. A mosque is located on the schools premises.

London Jamia Masjid
Reviews: 0
Also known as the Brick Lane Mosque, the London Jamia Masjid is a historical anomaly, and a reflection of the various communities that have inhabited the area at one point or other. It was originally established in 1743 as a Huguenot Church - at that time the area was inhabited by Huguenot refugees fleeing persecution in France. In 1809, it became a Wesleyan chapel (a Methodist group), and about 90 years later it was turned into the Spitalfields Great Synagogue for the Orthodox Jewish community. Finally, it reached mosque status in 1976 and it is still the main mosque of Banglatown, whose congregation is mainly Bangladeshi in origin. Notably, the mosque suffered a nail bomb attack (no casualties) in 1999. Combat 18, a white supremacist group, claimed responsibility.

Mazahirul Uloom London

Mazahirul Uloom has been providing a facilities for the Muslim community since 1996. By the grace of Allah we are constantly expanding the services and facilities that we provide to our congregation as well as the students. It has now become one of the leading Islamic secondary schools in East London with a high quality of education which some would say exceeds that which is provided in mainstream secondary schools. All our GCSE level classes are provided in accordance with the national curriculum.
