The Islamic Center of Tucson (ICT) is an Islamic institution which was established in Tucson in 1966. It was founded by a couple of students at the University of Arizona who felt the need to establish a mosque to serve as a place to gather for prayers and to fellowship with other Muslim students. Until 1976 the congregation met in private homes.

The Shia Muslim Students Association is a student group which serves to organize the Shia community of Tucson and foster religious learning. The SMSA holds weekly meetings to discuss the Holy Quran, the life of the Prophet and his pure family, may peace be upon them all. SMSA has also hosted a variety of events such as a Fastathon. For the past several years, the MSA of the University of Arizona has annually held a Fastathon as a part of a major fundraiser and culture awareness event. They also host a Muharram program and the Muharram Water project.

Welcome to MCCT We support justice, family values, honesty, truthfulness, mercy for the young, care for the old, and charity for the poor, upholding Islamic etiquettes and values; following the steps of our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Newly constructed masjid, still in the process of expansion. The masjid is open for all prayers. Jummah khutbah starts at 1pm.
