Located in Trowbridge, the county town of Wiltshire, Trowbridge Mosque has become a focal point for the local Muslim community. Muslims have used the mosque for Arabic classes, meetings, lectures, studies and community and overall educational purposes. The Board of Trustees, democratically elected, presently make-up the overall management of the mosque. Furthermore, regular meetings, annual selection and of course the onus being on equal opportunities for all has translated in a well-run and efficient centre. The mosque as it now stands is a bungalow-style edifice being able to house both brothers and sisters. The Main Hall accommodates 400 brothers with a Sisters? Gallery that can accommodate around 100. There is also a wudhu area to the rear as well as a kitchen for events and the like. Arabic classes are held in the Main Area as well as being a forum for anyone wishing to drop by and learn about Islam.
