30 ноября 2018 г.

Quran is full of blessings for us. One of those blessings is “Dua” which means “prayer”. It is best and simplest medium to connect to our creator Allah SWT. Dua is one of elite form of worship and it helps us seeking Allah’s (SWT) blessings. It is having worship that we can regardless of place and time. There are many different forms of worship in which a Muslim can indulge into Dua such as  offering Nawafils, Quran recitation and we can also do dua as additional worship after other forms of worships.

We should make dua in best possible words and there are no words better than those mentioned in Quran. There are many Dua’s in Quran which are given to us by Allah Almighty and also those which were used to call Allah’s help, mercy and blessings by the holy prophets. We can use to make our faith stronger because these are the same dua’s used by great Prophets when they prayed to Allah Almighty. It is in our favour to remember these Duas and try to use them in our daily life for getting blessings from Allah Almighty.

Muslims should also know about the importance of making dua as stated one of the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad (SAW):

“Verily your Lord is Generous and Shy. If His servant raises his hands to Him (in supplication) He becomes shy to return them empty.” (Tirmidhi)

Interesting fact: The dua below is the dua Prophet Yunus A.S cried out when he was in the belly of fish.

لَّا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
