Acton Mosque and Madrasa was established on Friday 21st March 1987. The mosque plans to expand with a structure of at least two floors, costing in the region of 2 million, including a prayer hall to accommodate 6-700 brothers and 50 sisters, a library, wudhu facilities, and Imam accommodations. The Acton Muslim Welfare Association is a registered charity (Number 291264). All trustees, volunteers and management committee members who give their time and valuable support are unpaid.
