Serves Indian cuisine, specializing in dosas, utthapams, biriyani, etc. Claims their Hyderabadi biriyani is the most authentic in the Bay Area, and it may well be. Halal status has been confirmed multiple times by staff members, including a Muslim worker. They said that all their meat (chicken, mutton, etc.) is halal, and that they obtain their meats from Indus, which is a halal meat supplier around Berkeley, CA. This restaurant used to serve only non-Halal meat in the past. Owners are probably non-Muslim. Lunch buffet till 2:30pm. Dinner buffet on Thursdays, normal dinner menu on other days. Closed on Tuesdays.
