Masjied ul Yunus

Masjied ul Yunus in the Southern Cape is after Swellendam and before Riversdale on the N2 and about 276 kilometres from Cape Town. Muslims in Heidelberg include a handful of Bangladeshis and some Somalis. The Heidelberg Masjid has wudhū facilities, two toilets and a shower, and holds 120 males and 20 ladies. The mosque opened on Friday, 29 March 2013. Driving directions: Take the Heidelberg turnoff from the N2 and take the first turn left into Reindeer Street. Turn right at the junction. Take the first turn left up the hill until you reach a four-way stop and turn left into High Street.
