Al-Montazar Foundation

In the Rio Grande Valley, we are a small community, but we all work together in organizing the events taking place all throughout the year. All the events are held in Al-Montazar Foundation center in McAllen. Generally, we meet once or twice a month for Dua-e-Kumail. We have majalis (religious gathering) in Ramadhan for Imam Ali's (AS) shahadat (martyrdom). We also have majalis during Moharram. During the first 10 days of Moharram, we have a majlis every day. Thereafter, there is a majlis on every Saturday until the Arba'een (40th day after Imam Hussain's (AS) shahadat).
