Taihape Islamic Centre

Also known as Ad-Deen Mosque. New Zealand's highest mosque located in the mountains along the main highway. Standing at 440m above sea level, it provides a place to stop, pray, rest and eat while travelling on long journeys. Miss this stop and the next mosque is at least one and a half hour drive.
