Islamic Center of Murfreesboro

The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro was established on 08/08/1997 as a nonprofit religious organization in the state of Tennessee. The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro serves the people of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County. The Islamic Center of Murfreesboro is not in any way associated or affiliated with any organization local, nationally, internationally or any other way. We estimate that we have over 250 families in Rutherford County that follow the religion of Islam. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, and nationalities, including American born, Middle Eastern, Asian, African and more. Like any other religious organization, we focus on religious and social activities as well as education for the individuals and community. We have been involved in many activities including but not limited to the Tornado relief in 2009, the flood relief efforts, and Haiti relief. We also help families during crisis financially and emotionally on many different occasions.
