Pearland Islamic Center

Pearland Islamic Center is a full fledged masjid/mosque offering 5 daily prayers, Friday khutbas/sermons, halaqah's for young men, and also for sisters. Sunday school teaches Qura'n, Hadith and Arabic. In addition there are other Arabic and Quran courses. Sunday afternoons also feature IslamInSpanish, a program catering to largest group of people entering Islam lately. There are programs to aid new Muslims and this center hosted the first ever New Muslims BBQ last December to help new Muslim cope with holiday void that was filled by other activities before. Insha Allah, another BBQ will be held this summer. There are family activities every month including Family Potluck and Movie night. Speakers are brought from different places based on subject and expertise. This is a fast growing community. Phase 1 of construction is done, soon Phase 2 will start. All help appreciated.
