Basmati

Basmati is a family-owned and operated Indian restaurant that opened in September 2007 with 30 seats (private parties can have up to 50 seats). It features an open-concept kitchen where patrons can observe staff preparing dishes. Lunch specials start at $6.49 including rice, salad and one curry. Lunch thalie plates start at $7.95. Unique items such as Desi poutine (combining Indian spices with a french Canadian favourite), and Tandoori pizza are also available. Not only are halal meats used exclusively, butother ingredients that may have animal by-products are avoided. Open from 9:30am to 10:30pm from Sunday to Wednesday and from 9:30am to 11:30pm from Thursday to Saturday. Dine-in, take-out, catering, private parties, and free delivery available.
